I came across this badass video from Matt Wichlinski over at The Strength Shop. Here he demonstrates some excellent bodyweight mastery using a number of pressing variations on the gymnastic rings. Matt says there are 48, but I was too lazy to count. Check it out.
Edit: Matt has since informed me that he never meant that there are “48 variations of presses”, rather that it was episode 48 of his videos. Thanks for the feedback Matt!
I am a big fan of bodyweight exercises, and I am a firm believer that you can use bodyweight to develop serious strength, rather than being limited to developing endurance. I like using bodyweight exercises for assistance work whenever possible.

Came across your blog today via facebook. I didn’t mean there are “48 variations”, just “episode 48″ of my videos that I put on youtube. I am now up to episode 53 or so, but the title can obviously be misleading. Keep up the good work.
Haha Matt thanks for clearing that up. I remember thinking that it didn’t quite seem like 48 variations of presses! Now I feel kind of silly!
