New Article on T-Nation – Nonlinear Periodization for Size & Strength

by Chris on March 31, 2012

I’ve discussed periodization models on this blog before but haven’t really touched upon a method that I feel is superior for planning training. This week I had my first article published on T-Nation.com about utilizing nonlinear periodization for development of strength and hypertrophy.

In the article I discuss a bit of the background of nonlinear periodization, its uses and give 2 example programs: 1 for developing strength and 1 focused on hypertrophy. Drop by T-Nation and check it out.

As always, feel free to leave your comments here, over at T-Nation or on the Train Better Fitness Facebook page.

I can’t believe I read that article back then and didn’t put 2 & 2 together.Guess I really didn’t look at the picture….sorry
It’s the type of program I use except for the power phase.Everyone IS different .I need more recovery now than I did say 10-15 years ago.I recently started doing hang cleans but not sure if cyberzone will approve of a member (non trainer) doing anything resembling heavy training.
It was a great article keep up the good work and see what you can do about getting another squat rack for the gym
