Week in Review 4/23/11

by Chris on April 23, 2011

I realize that I did not post a week in review last week. I ended up being a little busier than anticipated last weekend and never got a chance to do so. Thus, this week’s review will included some older posts that I still want to share.

Coach Jerry Shreck from Variety Trainer talks about fixing chondromalacia of the knee

Mike the Machine Bruce wrote a great article about how working out can tell people who you really are

Mike Robertson discusses 12 ways to improve recovery

Joe Hashey examines the four principles of effective strength training

Jedd Johnson presents a badass goblet squat variation

Eric Cressey proposes that some stiffness may actually be a good thing

Matt Wichlinksi wrote an awesome post about building a strong, healthy back

Mike the Machine Bruce talks about using dips to build upper body strength and muscle

Jason Ferruggia looks at using the snatch

And of course:

I take a look at Linear Periodization and whether or not it is useful or an outdated mode of programming

This week I launched the first of a new weekly post, Q&A Tuesday. Every week I will answer health and fitness questions submitted by you, the reader.

By the way, if you happen to come across, or even write, a great article that you want to see promoted on the week in review, don’t be afraid to send it my way.
